RESTON, VA, UNITED STATES, January 7, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Management Science & Innovation (MSI) today announced Wynn Coggins has joined the firm as Chief Growth Officer, further strengthening the company’s senior leadership team as it accelerates growth across federal government and commercial markets.

Coggins brings more than 35 years of experience across senior leadership roles in government and the private sector. Most recently, she served as the Director of Government Modernization at Deloitte, where she advised federal clients on strategy, transformation, and enterprise operations, helping organizations navigate complexity while delivering innovative tools and solutions focused on measurable outcomes.

During the 2020–2021 presidential transition, Coggins served in several of the most senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Commerce, including Acting Secretary, Acting Deputy Secretary, and Acting Chief Financial Officer and Assistant Secretary for Administration. In those and her previous roles, she led large, complex organizations through periods of intense transition, oversaw enterprise-wide operations, and drove wide-scale transformational change.

Coggins joins MSI following the recent addition of Dave Mader, Teresa Hunter, and Darren Ash to the firm’s leadership team. In her role as Chief Growth Officer, she will work closely with them to build on their tremendous experience and expand MSI’s footprint across the federal government.

“Wynn’s arrival is a force multiplier for MSI,” said Dan Heckman, Chief Executive Officer of MSI. “She joins an executive team that already includes leaders with deep credibility and real-world experience. Together, they position MSI to grow thoughtfully, serve clients better, and compete at a higher level in the federal market.”

As Chief Growth Officer, Coggins will lead MSI’s growth strategy, business development, and market expansion efforts, aligning the firm’s capabilities with evolving government priorities and client needs.

“I’m excited to join MSI at a time when we are all being asked think differently…….to streamline, modernize, perform, and deliver results in ways that are creating both change and opportunity,” said Coggins. “MSI has assembled a tremendous leadership team with extraordinary experience and credibility. In my new role, I look forward to helping MSI continue to develop and drive sustainable growth strategies focused on helping our government clients succeed in today’s increasingly complex environment.”

Coggins holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, a Master of Science degree from The George Washington University, and completed advanced studies in Public Management and Public Administration at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
