The California Investment and Innovation Program, administered by the Capital Programs & Climate Financing Authority, provides funding to support financial institutions that serve underserved communities and promote economic development in low and moderate-income areas throughout California.

The grant will support tenant improvements for the new Neighborhood National Bank branch location, which is expected to open in the second quarter of 2026. Once operational, the branch will provide a comprehensive suite of banking services to residents, small businesses, women-owned enterprises, minority-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses and the broader National City and San Diego community.
Services will include free checking and savings accounts with low or waivable monthly fees, no-cost online and mobile banking, free bill pay, free check cashing, and full access to business lending products, including SBA loans, commercial lines of credit, and commercial real estate financing.
