Two-way traffic restored on U.S. Route 63 over Little Piney Creek

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation were able to restore two-way traffic at the Little Piney Creek Bridge on U.S. Route 63 at Yancy Mills today, Sept. 30. A project to replace the bridge’s deck (driving surface) began in early May with traffic narrowed to one lane. The temporary traffic signals used to direct vehicles safely through the work zone have now been turned off.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

Kozeny-Wagner, Inc. of Arnold, MO has been awarded a $1,560,000 contract to complete the project.
